Becky had a few days off of college and work experience so she took the bus down from Prince George and she and I went over to Victoria to visit Missie. Missie had recently moved to Victoria and I had a few things to take down to her.
On the way to Victoria we stopped at Hope to see the family there.
This is Jamie and Kelly - Maurice's girls. They just live behind Memere and Pepere so they just walked over for a visit.

Mitchell - Maurice's son

Then we went to Chilliwack to visit Karen & Darren and their girls. This Darren's wife, Sharmon and their daughter, Danielle.

My fav - goofy face pictures. Sarah, Danielle and Selina.

We brought easter treats for the kids.

The next morning we headed to the ferry to travel over to Victoria.

This is the street that Missie lives on.

While Missie was working the next day, Becky and I went to the BC Museum. We had fun.

We saw scary bears - and felt scary ourselves

Isn't she fierce? Are you scared yet?

Statues in the museum.

We stopped off at the BC Railstation at the museum. When I would take the kids here when they were little we would sit on the bench and wait for the whistle of the train and watch the "light" of the engine. I remember their giggles.

Missie lives one house away from Dallas Rd in Victoria. This is the beach right near her home. It's absolutely beautiful.

There are tidal pools with creatures in them.

Here's another look of the beach.

This is the house that Missie lives in. She shares this house with a number of other young adults. They are a very nice group of adults and I enjoyed my visit with them.

Here you can see the beach as I'm standing on the sidewalk just outside Missie's house.

While at the beach I saw this...

and this...

Here's Missie with her new haircut. Cute!

On our last day we went for a short hike with the Huzzey's.

Here's Jim sharing one of his stories with Missie.

Victoria is always close to my heart and I'm glad that Missie is living there now. Becky and I had a wonderful road trip together.
