When I arrived in PG I realized that my luggage did NOT arrive with me and so I would spend the next day without luggage. When I arrived Becky and I then hopped on a bus to Quesnel and we needed to be there for the next morning. We were done by 11 AM but the bus didn't leave until 6:35 that night so we had 7 hours in the great metropolis of Quesnel. Well...we managed to stretch lunch to 2 hours and then we went to the local library for another 2 hours. They allowed us 1 hour of internet time. And then we stopped at Safeway for a bit to get some fruit etc for supper and then we sat at the bus depot to wait.
My camera was still in my lost luggage so I can't give you a pictoral display of that exciting day in Quesnel.
The next day, back in PG, I met a girlfriend from my elementary days (and I forgot my camera so I can't even show you a picture of her). We had a delightful time catching up on life after the last 30 years in different parts of the province.
Becky and I had supper together that night and she made me a delicious stir fry.
The next day I dropped her off at work and she showed me around her work place. She works at a high end jewelry store. She and I tried on all the beautiful rings. They were extravagant. She took a box of gems and diamonds and showed them to me. I was looking at one diamond in a box and she said "You're holding about $10,000 in your hands". I handed the box back to her. All this jewelry was custom made and very exquisite. It was fun to try it on anyways.

Then after playing a game of Taboo with the girls we went to pick up Becky from work and stopped for ice-cream at the mall.

And then Saturday came so very quickly and I was again at the airport. This time it was the Prince George airport and their statue is a bear by a stream with fish in it.
