Winter Pics of Missie
During Christmas Missie and I went outside and I took some pictures of her in the winter environment. She wanted some winter pics for her facebook site. It was fun taking some artistic pics. Hope you enjoy them.

Christmas Fun at the Cabin
We spent Christmas up at the cabin in Vernon. Missie was also able to join us there. Like usual, we had times of laughter and games.
This is a night of Pictionary.
This Christmas was weird in that laptops were very evident. We'd all be sitting around visiting and there would be 4 laptops open. Technology!

Christmas Play "Do We Still Remember?"
Little Julia
Here's my little niece, Julia on her first day in this great big, wide world. She's my sister, Elaine's daughter.
Here's daddy, Mike.

She had a difficult time entering the world as you can see by the mark on her face from the forceps. We are glad, though, that she arrived safely.
I got to spend some time helping Elaine and Julia the first week that they were home from the hospital. Here I'm having some cuddle time with little Julia.
I got to take Julia for her first walk.
She's dressed up for her first Christmas party. Isn't she just a little angel.

David's Visit with Becky & Nathan in Toronto
In October David applied for a position with GE Healthcare as the application specialist for MRI for western Canada and they requested an interview with him in Toronto. Before the interview he shaved his goatee.
He has had facial hair for so long it was strange seeing him without any hair.
While he was in Toronto Becky came and picked him up and so David was able to have a visit with her and Nathan, her boyfriend. Here they are touring the military base museum.

It was Remembrance Day while he was there and they all attended a service. Nathan is in the military training program in Ontario. We sure miss Becky so it was great for David to get to see her.

Misc
Here is a picture of the Simonji family all having fun. The kids look so happy.

I decided to get a different hair cut and here I've let my hairdresser cut it really short - short. The month after this I decided to let him cut it in a longer style. I figure my hair grows so fast that it really doesn't matter if I get a bad haircut as it isn't very long until the next cut. It's only hair after all so one might as well have fun with it.

A Peters' Thanksgiving in Chilliwack
What Thanksgiving would be Thanksgiving without a Turkey. Here's Karen's husband Phil doing the carving honors.
David bought a guitar just before Thanksgiving as he's always wanted to try and learn to play a bit. His brother, Darren knows how to play and was showing him a few things on the guitar. One day they'll be able to jam together.
Jennifer, Karen's daughter, is on the left. She's grown up so quickly.
This is Darren's daughter, Selina.

Darren's other daughter, Danielle is the dark haired one. She loves spending time with Uncle David.

Isn't this a lovely picture of David's mother, Roseanne? She's a lovely Memere.
After supper the guys went to a hockey game and us girls all played a game and laughed and had fun.

The next day David, Memere & I met Karen and Sarah at Harrison Hot Springs to see the Sand Castle competiton exhibits. I had never been to a sandcastle display and was very impressed with what I saw.

Even though it was rainy we had a great time.

The next day I went down to the river in Hope and enjoyed the beauty of the area.
