While we were with Jonathan and Rebecca in June we got to go back to the early years of picnics, bike rides, and swimming at the beach. We got to go to the elementary school picnics and watch the kids on the games (Jonathan is in the red shirt)...

And since Father's Day landed in June Rebecca asked David to be her special guest at the celebrations at her school where she and David participated in goofy races. They had a blast!
When we got back from our trip to the Prairies we helped with a huge garage sale on the long weekend and then on Monday we had to say good-bye to Jonathan and Rebecca. This was hard. These two children have gotten into my heart pretty deep. The times we spent will be treasured memories. I miss them and am thankful for e-mail and telephones.
This is their new family. Aren't they great? We are excited for them because they are in a wonderful family with lots of love and care and fun.
